CAN communication fault with external instrument
* Check the function / configuration settings of the tachograph, correct if necessary: - Read diagnosis config: RDI FD13. Expected response: 0x90 (1001 0000). CAN2 to ISO14229 / CAN1 to ISO14229 / K-Line Off. - Read reset heartbeat message: RDI F90C. Expected response: 0x00 (Off). * Insert a workshop card and correct parameters. * Check the calibration data of the tachograph (variant / configuration). * Replace defective components. * The tachograph may not be the cause of the error.

System reaction
MC15/EV102: * Warning message with error text: "internal fault" together with Memory Code 15 is shown in the tachograph display. * The warning message will be displayed repetitively every hour until the cause is withdrawn. * Event stored in the tachograph memory * Event stored and in the inserted tachograph card. * System event in TCO1 CAN message is set to active. * Tachograph warning (amber T) is displayed in the instrument cluster.
