Pressure Sensor Failure 1 (shorted to UBATT, Permanent Pressure Signal Detection)
- Check wiring of sensor 1 (short to UB ?) - Check pneumatic assembly of sensor 1 (correct pressure at sensor ?, no blockage ?) - Check sensor 1 (correct output signal ?). - Replace the ABS-ECU module, if the wiring and the sensor 1 is faultless
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
ABS and ATC function are still available HSA is deactivated EBL is not deactivated Drag Torque Control is not deactivated
Diagnostic depth
1) A short circuit to UB on the pressure sensor line was detected (U > 4,8 V). 2) A permanent braking signal on the pressure sensor had been detected by the ABS ECU. The error is only detected when the incoming pressure sensor signal voltage is permanently above a defined range (0.65 V … 0,68 V) from standstill to 50km/h.
- faulty wiring of sensor 1 - faulty pneumatic assembly of sensor 1 - sensor 1 has in correct output signal - ABS-ECU defective
