Pressure Sensor Failure 1 (open circuit or shorted to ground / Permanent 0Bar Detection)
- Check the parameter setting of the ABS-ECU (sensor 1 really assembled in vehicle ?) - Check pneumatic assembly of sensor 1 (correct pressure at sensor ?, no blockage ?) - Check wiring and electric connectors of sensor 1 (interruption ?) - Check sensor 1 (correct output signal ?). - Replace the ABS-ECU module, if the wiring and the sensor 1 is faultless
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
ABS and ATC function are still available HSA is deactivated EBL is not deactivated Drag Torque Control is not deactivated
Diagnostic depth
1) An interruption or a short circuit to GND on the pressure sensor line was detected. (U < 0,1 V) 2) The ABS ECU had detected a permanent zero pressure sensor signal, although the vehicle was decelerating several times.
- faulty parameter setting of the ABS-ECU (sensor 1 really assembled in vehicle ?) - faulty pneumatic assembly of sensor 1 - faulty wiring or electric connectors of sensor 1 - sensor 1 has incorrect output signal - ABS-ECU defective
