Compressor Solenoid Valve Status
Erase fault memory and check if fault is still present. If fault is still present exchange the ECU to fix the problem.

System reaction
With this failure alternative unload feature is active. In case of a detected fault at the compressor solenoid valve, which normally controls the compressor, the ECU controls the purge/regeneration solenoid valve such that the system pressure is still regulated. However as the compressor cannot be switched off during off-load, the full air flow from the compressor is exhausted via the open purge valve on the 'advanced' variant. On the 'high capacity' variant only the regeneration air flow is exhausted. Additionally the unit is regenerating in the entire off-load time. The pressures are still measured and transmitted. The following plausibility faults will be disabled: - Not possible to switch off the compressor - No pressure drop during regeneration - Sensor plausibility check
Diagnostic depth
Detection within 1,2 seconds after occurence of fault when the solenoid valve is switched-on. The fault is stored in the error memory if the condition is still existing after the validation time has elapsed. A re-testing is done every 2 seconds.
The high side driver can not be switched on due to an internal electrical fault.
