12V out 2 short circuit to Ubat
Disconnect the connector from the camera (or other component) and check if the DTC remains active. Check if the wire between the infotainment system and the component connected to the output (pin E6) has a short-circuit. If it becomes passive then check if the component has an internal short circuit. Note. Before replacing the infotainment system update to the latest available software.

The camera or other component connected to the 12V out (pin E6) consume current. Power should only be supplied when the function is requested.

Diagnostic depth
If system has 12V out 2 and if 12V out is short-ened to Ubat (&& 12V out isn't switched on) and SW12_OUT_SENSE voltage level output off 3.3V. This fault will be checked in run-time but once the fault is SET the digital out line will be disabled. So, scanning of this fault will be stopped for that power cycle and again scanning of fault starts in the next power cycle.
12V out malfunction is triggered by any of the following conditions: - Faulty connector - Faulty wire harness - Faulty camera or other tools
