Camera1 activation short circuit to GND
Disconnect the activation signal from the camera. Delete the DTC. Restart the infotainment system, activate camera1 and check if the DTC remains active. If so, check if the wire between the infotainment system and the camera activation signal (pin E9) has a short-circuit. Note Check that the activation signal from the infotainment system is active during measurement. This is done by requesting camera view in the display. Check any short-circuit for the remaining wiring between the camera and the infotainment system If it becomes passive the error probably depends on the camera. Check if the camera has internal short circuit. Note. Before replacing the infotainment system update to the latest available software.
What you'll see
The infotainment system cannot send the activation signal through pin E9 to camera1. The camera is kept in standby and does not send video transfer to to the infotainment system. Camera view is not possible.

Diagnostic depth
If the parameter Function_Camera1 is enabled and if CAM 1 activation is short-ened to ground and if the Camera1 Activation Line is High, SW34_OUT_SENSE voltage level >1.5V. This fault will be checked in run-time but once the fault is SET the digital out line will be disabled. So, scanning of this fault will be stopped for that power cycle and again scanning of fault starts in the next power cycle.
Camera activation malfunction is triggered by any of the following conditions: - Faulty connector - Faulty wire harness - Faulty camera
