USB2 malfunction
Disconnect RTC-C300 connected to the USB port and see if the DTC become passive. If it becomes passive, the issue is probably in the RTC device. If the DTC remains active, then remove the wire harness and visually inspect all connectors between the infotainment system and USB port2. Check for any short circuit in the USB cable, USB port2 or infotainment system. Note. Before replacing the infotainment system update to the latest available software.

Diagnostic depth
If parameter System_USB2 = on and the 5V USB_Vbus line is short-circuited to USB_GND, USB_D+, USB_D- or USB_shield. This fault will be checked in run-time.
USB2 malfunction fault is triggered by any of the following conditions: - Faulty internal USB cable in the truck - Faulty USB connector - Faulty RTC C300
