PCB overheated
â–¶ How to fix
Update to the latest available software. Check if there is any change in the airflow from a retrofitting activity in the IP panel. Check if there if the fan is dusty. Check for a cooling fan DTC. Perform cooling fan test.
What you'll see
Display back-light intensity is reduced and cannot be increased manually anymore --> thermal management is activated Volume level is reduced an cannot be increased above 20 anymore --> thermal management is activated
System reaction
System will show a pop-up and will shutdown
Diagnostic depth
Detection
PCB temperature above critical temperature (> 95 °C). This fault will be checked in run-time.
Possible cause
E.g. - Colling fan damaged or dirty - On retrofitting, the thermal flow has been restricted.
