Cooling Fan MalFunction
Restart the system and check if the DTC remains active. Perform cooling fan test. Inspect the connector and wire of the cooling fan to the infotainment system. Make sure the fan is not blocked. Note. Before replacing the infotainment system update to the latest available software.

System reaction
When the cooling fan fails, the system reacts differently depending on the ambient and system temperature. At system temperature below 80 ° C: No visible systemic reaction. At system temperature above 80 ° C: Varying system response with reduced backlight or reduced audio output when switching off system.
Diagnostic depth
If (FAN_SPEED =1 and RPM != 3100 +- 15%) or (FAN_SPEED = 0 and RPM != 2325 +- 15%). This fault will be checked during run-time.
- Fan is broken or dirty - Extrem high alltitude can also cause problems due to the low air pressure.
