CAN communication from the brake system One of the CAN messages expected from the BMS control unit disappears or is missing. The transfer gearbox differential lock cannot be disengaged by the ABS/EBS system. The driver must release the accelerator pedal to activate the differential lock. The fault code is only generated in vehicles with BMS. If fault codes 11060, 11070, (possibly 11080 or 11090 depending on vehicle specification), 11100 and 11110 have been generated, there is probably a break in the CAN cable to the AWD control unit.
