CAN communication from the coordinator One of the CAN messages expected from the coordinator disappears or is missing. In vehicles with manual gearbox with acknowledgement for engaged neutral position or OPC, neutral must be engaged in the main gearbox before changing gear in the transfer gearbox. If there is no acknowledgement for neutral in the main gearbox, the ignition must be turned off before changing gear in the transfer gearbox. If fault codes 11060, 11070, (possibly 11080 or 11090 depending on vehicle specification), 11100 and 11110 have been generated, there is probably a break in the CAN cable to the AWD control unit.
