System reaction
The driver is given an indication that low gear has been engaged. The system attempts to retain the current activated gear position.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
The position sensor is activated without the solenoid valves being activated.
Possible cause
The fault code occurs, e.g. when there is a short circuit in the wiring to the sensor.
