Battery pack safety critical temperature has been reached
• Check DTC’s related to the battery heating system and perform actions according to those DTC’s in order to fix the problem that caused the high battery temperature • If this DTC has been set the battery have been exposed to a temperature where it degrades rapidly and the safety of the battery cannot be guaranteed. Change the battery pack E83 according to instruction in multi. • After fixing the cooling system perform a functional test according to instruction in multi Note! This DTC is implemented as a safety measure if the vehicle is operated after DTC 0290 is set. Note! DTC needs to be erased to restore vehicle functionality.

• Continuing to drive at high engine RPM after DTC0290. • Internal short-circuit in the battery that heats the cell. • The battery have been exposed to a external heat source (Fire, hot air outlet)
