The climate control system (E138) has been shut down before it finished its normal shutdown procedure, by removing its U30 12V supply.
1. Inform the customer that the climate control system can stay awake for a long time even if the ignition key is in the off position. The battery master switch should therefore not be used. 2. If the customer has not been using the battery master switch, check the U30 12V supply cable harness.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
If the climate control does not finish its normal shutdown procedure, user settings might not be saved and will be lost.
Diagnostic depth
The abnormal shutdown is detected the next time the climate control system starts.
U30 12V supply has been removed from the climate control system, possibly by usage of the battery master switch.
