Check the impulse sensor including wiring and connectors. Check measure the voltage on coordinator pin 41.Check also whether the engine control unit has generated any fault codes.

Detection
The vehicle speed signal generated by the impulse sensor has been missing or the voltage in the impulse sensor circuit has been above or below the permitted level.Fault code is generated if voltage on coordinator pin 41 has fallen below 0.5 V or exceeded 4.6 V.
Possible cause
Short circuit or open circuit. There may also be an internal fault in the impulse sensor.
