Switch for idle speed adjustment
Check the three idle adjustment switches, including wiring and connector. Check the switches spring loaded function.Measure the voltage on coordinator pin 13, 36 and 29. Pin 13: Active signal 0 V, inactive above 20 V.Pin 36: Active signal 0 V, inactive above 20 V.Pin 29: Active signal approx 4 V, inactive approx 3.4 V.Check also whether the engine control unit has generated any fault codes.

Diagnostic depth
One of the three idle adjustment switches has been activated for an unreasonably long time period. The fault code is set if an earthed signal (active) continuously existed on coordinator pin 13 or 36 for a longer time period than five minutes. It is also set where a voltage value of 4 V or higher (active) continuously existed on coordinator pin 29 for a longer time period than five minutes.
Internal fault in one of the three switches or short circuit in the circuit.
