Verification of starter key
Check that the correct starter key is in the starter lock. Make sure that there are no other keys with transponders on the keyring. Check the transceiver unit and wiring.

Diagnostic depth
The starter key could not be verified.
The immobiliser system needs the coordinator to approve the starter key before the engine can be started. In this case the starter key has been shown to be incorrect. The key either does not have a transponder at all or the transponder is defective. But the key may also be programmed to another coordinator or verification may have been disrupted because several starter keys with transponders are hanging on the same keyring. A fault on the transceiver unit may also generate this fault code.
