Clutch pedal normal sensor short circuit to battery.

â–¶ How to fix

• Check wiring (to clutch pedal normal sensor) • Check connectors (to clutch pedal normal sensor) • Check clutch pedal normal sensor • Measure the sensor voltage between signal and ground • Check clutch pedal mechanism

What you'll see

• Changing split gear is inhibited • Activation of clutch dependent PTO (e.g. PTO-EG) is inhibited, when engine is running • Some engine speed control modes ("PTO-modes") are inhibited • Cruise control is disabled (if the vehicle is not equipped with clutch by wire) • Adaptive Cruise control is disabled (if the vehicle is not equipped with clutch by wire)

System reaction

Amber Cruise Control malfunc.

Diagnostic depth

Detection

Impermissible signal from the clutch pedal normal sensor. The sensor voltage level is too high. The clutch sensor is short circuit to supply voltage.

Possible cause

• Defect wiring - open circuit on clutch ground (pin C23) - short circuit to supply voltage (pin C32) • Defect connectors • Defect clutch pedal normal sensor (potentiometer) • Mechanically defect clutch pedal mechanism (causing clutch pedal sensor to reach an impermissible position)
