EMS node: timeout in CAN communication.
• Check the EMS for DTCs • If DTCs can not be read from the EMS: - check CAN connection to EMS unit - check power supply and ignition signal to the EMS • Check wiring and connectors for the red CAN-bus • Measure the resistance (with the battery disconnected) between pins B1 and B10. It should be approximately 60 ohm (one 120 ohm termination resistor in each end of the CAN-bus).
