Remove the unit, not matching the rest of the vehicle, and replace it with a unit containing the correct software generation (i.e. correct spare part number). Tip: • Check retrofitted ECU units (if any). • Check the unit most recently exchanged for a spare part.
What you'll see
• Undefined vehicle behavior (if an ECU software generation does not match the vehicle) • Logging of operation data is disabled when the DTC is active.

• An ECU unit with a software not compatible with the vehicle, has been connected to a CAN bus (red, yellow, or green). - E.g. an ECU has been retrofitted, which has a newer software generation, than the rest of the vehicle. - E.g. a spare part ECU has been installed, which has a newer software generation, than the rest of the vehicle. • A COO unit with a software not compatible with the vehicle, has been installed. - E.g. a spare part COO has been installed, which has an older software generation, than the rest of the vehicle.
