0x802812,Passenger side-airbag pin shortage to plus
1. Locate corresponding wires for squib that match the DTC, ensure ignition is on 2. Disconnect squib connector and check if DTC changes to open-circuit, if no then continue with next instruction. Otherwise repair the squib for shortage to 24V problem. 3. If more intermediate connectors are in the wiring harness path from squib to ECU, disconnect next squib connector closer to ECU and check if DTC changes to open-circuit, if no and this is the last harness section to ECU then replace ECU, if this is not the last harness section then redo 3. Otherwise continue fault searching the disconnected wiring harness section by continuing to 5. 4. Disconnect cable connector on ECU side and continue fault searching using the disconnected cable harness part by continuing to 5. 5. Switch off ignition (U15). Measure resistance from corresponding pin on squib side cable connector to ECUs 24V for positive wire, if no indication of shortage, continue to next instruction. Otherwise repair cable harness for positive wire. 6. Redo 5 but for the negative wire. If problem found repair cable harness for negative wire.
