Reset DTC Toggle ignition key to "key off" and await system reset then "key on" i.e. system wake up Read out DTC's again Check CAN circuit (e.g. cables and connectors) Replace cable harness if damaged
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
- No messages will be transmitted or received by DCC2 when DCC2 is in CAN Bus Off state. - Timeout of CommandMessage from BMU and DCC2 will enter Error state and disable the output and the 24-volt system will drain the 24-volt batteries. Possible VOR. - Yellow warning lamp "24V batteries not charged" is shown in ICL
Diagnostic depth
The following DCC2 event is active: CAN.Bus2Off If CAN's transmit error counter increments to a value more than 255 CAN will enter Bus Off state. The CAN will try to enter the bus until it manage to enter the bus, when it enters the bus and the error counters for transmission and receiving are zero this DTC will be cleared.
Problems with the CAN bus. Disturbance on the CAN bus.
