Fault state reported from door motor bridge 1.
1) After a door stop, press door button and it should start moving again. 2) If 1 fails, reset the DCU by switching off and on the power to it. 3) Check for faulty components, cable harness and connectors that could cause over-current or open load. 4) if 1 - 3 fail, replace the DCU.
What you'll see
The door leaf will stop moving. The DCU will try to bring the motor driver out of fault state. On the next door motion request (e.g. from MBS via CAN or from the workshop button input), the door should start moving again.
System reaction
The DCU signals 'Major fault' over CAN to MBS, which then requests 'Door malfunction' notification and an exclamation mark indication in the related door in Bus stop page in ICL.
Diagnostic depth
Internally reported fault state by the motor bridge driver, based on hardware monitoring functions.
Multiple causes, of which the most common are: - Short circuit or over-current on any output for the motor - Open load on any output for the motor
