Low voltage on output supply rails
â–¶ How to fix
-Check the power supply and connectors to DCU. -Check the fuses. -Check if other systems have the same DTC, that would indicate a general problem in the vehicle.
What you'll see
Limited door functionality or complete loss of some or all functions depending on how many of the power rails that are affected.
System reaction
No system-reaction text recorded.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
The DCU checks if voltage on the internal power supply rails V1, V2 and V3 for the output drivers sinks below the normal operating range (16 V).
Possible cause
The power system in the vehicle supplies less than 16V. The reasons could be: - fuses for the DCU in the electric centre are blown - faulty or drained batteries - faulty battery charging system (generator etc.)
