Short circuit on emergency reset valve B output
Check the component, cable harness and connectors for mechanical damage. If the resistance measured over the valve's solenoid coil (when disconnected from the DCU) is lower than approximately 12 ohms it will cause overcurrent. It is possible to reset manually by pushing the reset button on the valve itself.
What you'll see
The DCU is unable to reset the emergency opening valve and the door leaf or whole door stays in emergency opened state.
System reaction
The DCU signals 'Major fault' over CAN to MBS, which then requests 'Door malfunction' notification and an exclamation mark indication in the related door in Bus stop page in ICL.
Diagnostic depth
A current above the maximum level has been detected on the output for the valve, or the output has come in contact with supply voltage. The output can supply maximum 2 A.
- Short circuit due to damaged or broken wires. - The connected component is out of order.
