Voltage too low on sensor power supply output

â–¶ How to fix

- Reset the DCU by switching off and on the power to it. - If the problem persists, replace the DCU.

What you'll see

The door can probably not be run by the DCU because it gets incorrect position information.

System reaction

The DCU signals 'Major fault' over CAN to MBS, which then requests 'Door malfunction' notification and an exclamation mark indication in the related door in Bus stop page in ICL.

Diagnostic depth

Detection

The voltage on the sensor supply pin is more than 1V under the selected voltage. The selected voltage is set by a parameter but is at present always 12 V.

Possible cause

- The power system in the vehicle supplies low voltage. - An internal fault has occurred in the DCU.
