Short circuit on output for peripheral component supply

â–¶ How to fix

- Check connected components, cable harness and connectors for mechanical damage. - Disconnect all components supplied from this output, restart the DCU and check if the DTC is still active. If so, then the problem is in the cable harness or internally in the DCU. If not then re-connect components one at the time until the problem reappears to find the faulty component. - Note that the DCU must be restarted (power off/on) to turn the output active again after the error has been fixed.

What you'll see

The door system may have more or less degraded functionality, depending on the specification. Affected components: - closed position switch cannot signal closed position - photocell will not work - self-service button will not work - door lock switch cannot signal unlocked lock

System reaction

The output is switched off until next time the DCU is powered up.

Diagnostic depth

Detection

A current above the maximum level has been detected on the output or the output has come in contact with supply voltage. The output can supply maximum 2 A.

Possible cause

- Short circuit due to damaged or broken wires. - One or more connected components are out of order.
