EACS will start to run continuously at nominal speed when this DTC is set to active, unless limited or stopped by the BMU control.

Detection
The DTC is set to active if: • A CAN bus message from the APS has not been received within the last 2500 ms The DTC is set to inactive if: • A CAN bus message from the APS has been received within the last 2500 ms The DTC is not set in the following cases: • VCA is below 22 V • VCA is above 30 V • Until 2 seconds from wake-up have passed
Possible cause
Bad CAN connection to the APS, or APS down.
