Oil level switch circuit open
Check sensor cable harness including connectors. Replace if necessary. Perform a power reset by turning the vehicle ignition off/on. Check oil level switch: 1. Make sure the amount of oil in the compressor is according to the specification. Fill up oil if necessary. 2. Reset the ECU and wait for at least 9 seconds 3. Readout the oil level switch status using DID 0xFE00. Check that the status is “Oil level Ok” 4. Drain out the oil 5. Reset the ECU and wait for at least 9 seconds 6. Readout the oil level switch status using DID 0xFE00. Check that the status is “Oil level low” 7. If any of the tests fail, replace the oil level switch. 8. The DTC is set to active if: • The oil level switch supply is detected as open circuit during the startup measuring period* The DTC is set to inactive if: • The oil level switch supply is not detected as open circuit during a startup measuring period* *The startup measuring period for the oil level takes place between t=6 and t=9 seconds after ECU start-up. The DTC is not set in the following cases: • VCA is below 22 V • VCA is above 30 V
