The DTC is set to active if: • The EACS could not be started due to broken communication link between the primary and secondary MCU internally within the e-motor* AND • the EACS is told to run The DTC is set to inactive if: • The internal communication link between the primary and secondary control unit within the e-motor is working normally, the next time the EACS is told to run. *The internal communication link is considered broken/down when no expected messages have been received for 10 seconds. This status is cleared 1 second after the internal communication link has been restored again.
