Compressor over temperature condition
In priority order: • Let the EACS cool down for 60 minutes. Read compressor temperature sensor input value using the UDS service. • Check the cooling system • Check visually wiring harness • Check wiring harness connection • Check Thermal switch • Check the environment condition • Check the lack of oil in the compressor • Check the oil sensor switch Details regarding how to, please check the service manual §Trouble shooting.
What you'll see

The DTC is set to active if: • The compressor temperature sensor indicate a temperature above CompTempHighLimit(1) for 500 ms The DTC is set to inactive if: • The compressor temperature sensor indicate a temperature below CompTempOkLimit(2) for 500 ms AND • At least 30 seconds have elapsed since the DTC was set to active (1) CompTempHighLimit is an EOL parameter, default value 125 °C. (2) CompTempOkLimit is an EOL parameter, default value 100 °C.
One or more of the following: • Insufficient coolant flow • Coolant temperature too high • Sensor cable harness defective or disconnected • Coalescence filter is defective • Heat exchanger clogged • Ambient temperature too high • Oil level in compressor housing too low • Compressor defective
