EACS will start to run continuously at nominal speed when this DTC is set to active, unless limited or stopped by the BMU control.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
The DTC is set to active in case of: • Speed request message timeout, i.e. the message has not been received for 2.5 seconds and wake input pin is active (high) The DTC is set to inactive if: • A valid Speed request CAN bus message has been received The DTC is not set in the following cases: • VCA is below 22 V • VCA is above 30 V • Until 5 seconds from wake-up have passed
Possible cause
Bad CAN connection to the APS, or APS down.
