Motor torque reduction due to high temperature in ECU
â–¶ How to fix
Step-1: Switch-Off the ECU. Step-2: Let the ECU cool-down until the motor temperature is less than 115°C. Step-3: Power-on the ECU. Step-4: Replace the powerpack if the SPN is still active.
What you'll see
The driver detects the following: Degradation of EPS motor torque depending on the temperature characteristic values.
System reaction
Set the Yellow Lamp to "On". DTC not affected ASM functionality, ASM functionality active with reduction.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
Internal ECU error. The DTC will set during the following condition: 1.System state: DriveDown, DriveUp. 2.System voltage is above 6v. 3.System voltage is below 42v.
Possible cause
1. Defective powerpack. 2.ECU temperature >= 115°C.
