Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor : Signal implausible
External Yaw-Rate-Sensor: - check sensor housing / mounting bracket for defects - check sensor mounting orientation and alignment of sensor - check EOL parameter YRS_ORIENTATION - (check wheel speed sensor signals) Integrated Yaw-Rate-Sensor: - check Central-ECU housing / mounting bracket for defects - check Central-ECU mounting orientation and alignment of sensor - check EOL parameter YRS_ORIENTATION - (check wheel speed sensor signals) Clear DTC, if something looks damaged or the failure returns, replace the component(s). If sensor or Central-ECU has been replaced calibration of acceleration sensor has to be performed.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
ESP control off YRS Gateway signal FE/FF ESP Warning Lamp.
Diagnostic depth
Longitudinal acceleration sensor signal implausible in reference to wheel speed sensor signals.
- wrong configuration of EOL parameter YRS_ORIENTATION - wrong mounting orientation of sensor (external YRS) or Central-ECU (integrated YRS) - misaligned sensor / Central-ECU mounting (e.g. tilted, declination) - strong frame vibrations, parts hitting
