Diagnostic depth
The cylinder balancing compensation value has reached the minimum or maximum value for the cylinder. It is not possible to adjust the balancing value any further. The test is only run if: - there are no active electrical DTCs for coolant temperature sensor - engine is idling - coolant temperature is approximately 80 °C
The cylinder gives different power than the other cylinders. This may be due to internal or external leakage in the injector, or defect control valve. Low compression may also lead to this DTC. The DTC can also arise due to air in the fuel system, caused for example by low fuel level or leakages in the supply circuit. In this case, probably more than one cylinder will be detected as defect.
