Exhaust Pressure Control Valve "A" Range/Performance
- Check and correct any other error codes related to APS (E56), EGR system, exhaust gas pressure sensor (T125), and ambient pressure sensor (E30). - Check if the exhaust brake valve is stuck or if the exhaust system is clogged. - Check if the EGR valve is stuck. - Check for leaks in the exhaust and EGR pipes. - Check the exhaust pressure sensor and atmospheric pressure sensor and their connectors and wires.

System reaction
The performance of the exhaust brake actuator might be decreased. Can lead to reduced power, increased visible smoke and increased urea consumption.
Diagnostic depth
The exhaust back pressure does not reach the expected level during heat-up. The test is only evaluated during low exhaust pressure demands (1-4 Bar) and low engine speeds (500-1200 rpm).
- The exhaust brake valve is stuck. - The exhaust system is clogged. - The EGR valve is stuck. - Leaks in the exhaust system upstream of the exhaust brake valve. - The air pressure to the exhaust brake actuator is too low. - Faulty valve block (V17/V107). - Air pressure supply to block valve (V17/V107) is too low. - Faulty exhaust pressure sensor (T125).
