Clear the DTC. If the DTC is reappearing check the following 1. Check that the sensor is correctly assembled on the camshaft wheel. 2. Check that the sensor is correctly assembled on the ECU (try to switch polarity). 3. Replace the sensor

Detection
The fault is detected when the engine is running but the camshaft sensor is not measuring any pulses.
Possible cause
The sensor is assembled to far from the camshaft wheel. The sensor is not connected to the right pins on the ECU. The wiring or the sensor is damaged.
