Parking brake function - Extensive proportional braking usage
Check which ECU and for what reason requests secondary braking from EPB for such a long time. The brakes shall be cooled down to get the DTC passive. For this the vehicle shall stand still or proportional braking by EPB shall not be requested for a certain time. This can be longer than 10 minutes, depending on for how long EPB was used for proportional braking.

System reaction
Automatic parking brake release and release by request of other ECU on the vehicle is disabled temporarily. Manual release with HCU is still available. Yellow warning lamp.
Diagnostic depth
DTC is set if secondary braking request is received by EPB from another ECU for too long time while vehicle is in motion.
Secondary braking was requested from EPB by Coordinator ECU or other ECU (e.g. DAS) for too long time. There is a risk of brake overheating.
