Secondary wake-up line - Short to ground
â–¶ How to fix
Check if secondary wake-up line is shorted to GND in the cable harness. If there is no short circuit to GND, check all other ECUs connected to secondary wake-up line. If no other ECU is faulty but fault still persists, replace EPB ECU.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
EPB won't be able to wake-up/keep-awake EBS/ICL with Secondary Wake-up. Yellow warning lamp.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
When EPB tries to pull high the secondary wake-up line, after the reaction delay it reads back its value and checks if pull up was successful or not.
Possible cause
Short to ground of secondary wake-up line in cable harness. HW fault in other ECUs connected to secondary wake-up line. HW error of EPB ECU.
