Loss of ECU and vehicle identification data
• If possible, reprogram the ESTA ECU, in order to get the correct ECU assembly part number re-written to the ECU (this number is written after the flash programming is completed). • If reprogramming is not possible - replace the ESTA ECU unit E1003 (since ECU complete number can not be recovered/rewritten by SDP3).
What you'll see
• COO Red Stop Lamp shown in ICL (since ESTA is not sending the correct VIN) • Limited support for ESTA in SDP3 (since the ECU assy number is invalid)
System reaction
No system-reaction text recorded.
Diagnostic depth
The ECU and vehicle identification data is corrupt or missing. - ECU assembly part number - Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
System supply voltage (U30) was disrupted, while the ECU was writing to the file containing the ECU identification data, thus corrupting the file system.
