Plausibility test indicates OMV stuck in closed position

â–¶ How to fix

* If the fault only occurs at very low temperatures(-30C), the oil might have to be replaced. See service litterature for recommended oil quality in cold climate. * Perform a Diagnostic SelfTest (requires Parking Brake to be applied) by turning off ignition, wait 10 seconds and then turn it on OR through SDP3. - Wait for self test to finish approximately 30 seconds. - If error still active change valve unit assemby * If error heals look at counts - Low count of errors indicates that self test was disturbed by outer forces which induced pistion movement (no error). - High number of counts indicates that somthing is wrong with OMV which reappears frequently but still not permanently. Change valve unit assemby

Possible cause

* Extremely low temperatures will cause oil to solidify, thus jamming the valve * Outer force was applied during self test on steered axle. * OMV is not responding as it should - Something inside OMV is broken.
