The DMV on the CVU has a plausible hydraulic leakage
Error trace the DMV in the CVU. If the oil is contaminated, the oil will have to be replaced together with the oil filter. See service litterature for recommended oil quality. When the fault has been corrected, reperform a Diagnostic SelfTest. If the fault only occurs at very low temperatures, the oil might have to be replaced. See service litterature for recommended oil quality in cold climate. To invalidate error: 1. Turn the ignition key to OFF, and wait for 10 seconds. 2. Apply Parking brake. 3. Make sure the tag axle wheels are free to steer (e.g. vehicle should not be on a lift) 4. Turn the ignition key to ON. 5. Diagnostic SelfTest is now executed. 6. After approximately 60 second system should return to normal operation. - Faultcodes should be passive.
What you'll see

System reaction
Red Steer tag axle fault warn ESTA in released mode
Diagnostic depth
The DMV, CBV, or check valve, has a plausible hydraulic leakage, detected by Diagnostic SelfTest.
There seems to be some form of leakage inside the CVU. The DMV can not be fully closed, a CBV is fauly, or a check valve is faulty. • Debris in the oil prevents the hydraulic valve from closing • Mechanical failure in the hydraulic valve • Extremely low temperature has caused the hydraulic oil to solidify
