ESTA system degraded due to low supply voltage
Check the CMS ECU for a DTC indicating faulty supply voltage and follow the instructions for this DTC. Check condition of battery. In dual battery vehicles both batteries must be checked. Service battery might be in poor condition. If no fault is found in general power supply, check EST ECU (E112) supply voltage. Read the ECU signal for supply voltage and compare with the battery voltage measured using a multimeter.

Diagnostic depth
Normal operation is not possible, and low vehicle supply voltage is the probable cause. It could be a timeout, or missing CAN-signal, from another system. It could also be a solenoid that looses its function due to low voltage/current.
• The power system in vehicle has delivered less than 22V.
