Ensure that the message is in the speficied range as mentionned in the dbc file COMMENT: Example: "Check the Coordinator ECU for fault codes. Check the steering angle sensor. Check the vehicle CAN-bus."
What you'll see
Input signal out of range. COMMENT: In this case symptom might not be necessary since the system reaction is that lane departure warning is switched off, but an example anyway. Example: "Lane departure warning does not work"
System reaction
None COMMENT: What will happen? Example: "Yellow warning displayed in the instrument cluster. Lane departure warning is disabled"
Diagnostic depth
If signal SensorInputData1_K.steeringWheelAngle is out of range for 3 times. COMMENT: What if the signal is Error or NotAvailable, will that trigger this DTC as well? Out of range 3 times but how long is that timeframe? Example: "CAN signal from steering wheel angle sensor has been out of range 3 times during XX seconds CAN signal from steering wheel angle sensor is Error or NotAvailable."
Root cause is within ECU that sends this message. COMMENT: Example: "Faulty Steering wheel angle sensor. Faulty Coordinator ECU Faulty CAN-communication"
