To regain redundancy, sparepart program instrument cluster. If error persist replace hardware.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
System will use backup area instead. Primary area will be reset until system is sparepart programmed. Until this is done, there will be no redundancy for E2 errors. This DTC is stored.

Application will calculate and compare checksums
Possible cause
Some eeprom memory bits have changed since the time they were written. Impossible to determine which bits. Might also be some broken memory cell.
