Battery box sensor
1. Check the sensor, connectors and wiring. 2. Disconnect connector C253. 3. Check that the resistance when the sensor is open is infinite. 4. Check that the resistance when the sensor is closed is 900-1100. 5. Check that the voltage on pin C253-1 is more than 9 V. If the voltage is too low: check that the wiring to the alarm control unit is not shorted to earth. 6. Check that pin C253-2 is connected to earth via the alarm control unit.
