No action is needed if DTC is set a few times (1-5). If set frequently, check electrical installation in vehicle for non-certified third party equipment(*) and disconnect these. Thereafter, replace ECU if problem remains.
What you'll see
If the MBS is restarted the driver will notice it by buttons not working and the ceiling lighting going off.

A software reset is performed. Thereafter the system should work normally.
