MBS_C Expansion node is not starting

â–¶ How to fix

- Check the fuse, connectors, and cable harness. - Check the indicators on the faulty node: - No LED is powered or flashing. (Dead expansion node) - Orange LED triple flashing (Application is not executing): Missing or damaged application software: Update the application software , - Orange LED blinking every second (Application is running): No error - Yellow LED is not active: No CAN traffic; the node has no connection to MBS (Master) : Check the CAN bus, connectors, and cable harness. - Yellow active (Shimmering ): CAN communication is OK. No Error - Yellow steady : ECU detects CAN bus physical problems, trying to recover. : Check the connections or damaged wiring.

What you'll see

Component connected to the C-node will not work properly. If the bus is equipped with wireless stop buttons, they will not work.

System reaction

Functions dependent on MBS_C are missing or degraded. An amber warning will be shown in the ICL.

Detection

No communication has been received from the MBS_C expansion node since startup.

Possible cause

The fault is most likely in the MBS_C unit or the pink CAN bus • During production: - Faulty installation of the expansion node. - Incorrectly connected expansion node. - Dead expansion node. • Bus is in Service (After production) - Dead expansion unit
