EWR Sensitive edge active long

â–¶ How to fix

Check the faulty unit, cable harness and conectors. Cheack for any mechanical failure that affects the EWR functionality.

What you'll see

The driver will not be able to operate the electrical wheelchair ramp.

System reaction

EWR functionality is missing or degraded. EWR malfunction warning will be shown in the ICL.

Detection

The signal from the sensitive edge on the electrical wheelchair ramp has been active permanet ( t>10s)

Possible cause

- Mechanical fault, something squeezing the sensitive edge. - Short circuit due to damaged or broken cables internally in the ramp. - Faulty component.
