Erase trouble code and restart ECU. If fault still present, reflash ECU (both “halves”) and restart ECU.

Evaluation Condition Always. Set Condition Short circuit error counter is increased with one every 20 ms when the unfiltered sensor value measures below -50 °C, otherwise it is decreased with one. Set condition is when error counter reaches 10. Clear Condition Clear condition is when error counter reaches 0.
Possible cause
Internal hardware failure. (Short Circuit in the internal temp sensor)
